This painting depicts designs associated with the rock hole site of Wirrulnga, east of Kiwirrkura community. A number of women, represented by the ‘U’ shapes, camped here before travelling north-east. Wirrulnga is associated with birth and while at the site, one of the women gave birth. The arcs represent the rocky outcrops and the surrounding sandhills. While in the area, the women also gathered edible berries known as kampurarrpa, or desert raisin, from the small shrub Solanum centrale.
