Pantone's 'colour' of the year for 2026 is Cloud Dancer and this one can pretty much be whatever you want it to be (like a blank canvas They say). Whether you are after a crisp and clean feel with sharp edges, or a cuddly, fluffy and cotton like aesthetic, this white will be thoroughly obliging in almost any situation.

Although warm against the stark white of an empty page or pantone chip border, Cloud Dancer does have a hint of grey allowing it to work with both cool as well as warm colour schemes. Needless to say, 2026 will see this colour being used as an accent as well as a lead because we all need a white we can depend on - one that doesn't pierce our brains on a digital screen or dull the feels in our architectural interiors.

It will let the font take importance, it will balance the ensembles, it will illuminate the viewfinder and it will let the space breathe.
