After the success of the Bankstown Sports Club project, Pony Design engaged Australian Design & Co. (then Catapult Design) to provide bespoke furniture solutions for the re-development of the popular bistro and main bar of Canberra’s well established and frequented venue, the Canberra Southern Cross Club. 

Exploring new materials and developing a completely customised and fully integrated banquette system designed by Pony, AD&Co. was an integral part of the floor plan and design solution.

The Nookie tables, renowned for their durability in high traffic commercial environments, were specified throughout both the bistro and new large capacity bar area for both communal and family dining and bar height solutions.
